Glitter & Razz Productions LLC
www.glitterandrazz.comBased in Oakland, CA and co-founded by Lynn Johnson and Allison Kenny, we are a teaching artist-owned social enterprise working to ignite a compassion revolution by putting girls center stage. We do this through: 1) Go Girls! Camp: a summer camp for elementary school age girls to learn and practice essential social/emotional skills through the creation and performance of their very own plays 2) "Starring Celia": a chapter book by co-founder, Allison Kenny, about a 4th grader who goes from being bullied to becoming a Go Girl! 3) Girl Advocates: a series of courses and coaching programs designed to provide parents, educators and other caring adults with the information, inspiration and tools they need to prepare girls to be happy, healthy and safe in their lives. Glitter & Razz also partners with schools, non-profits and other social businesses to imagine, innovate, and implement programs that foster social/emotional learning through the arts for folks of all ages. Our programming has received international recognition from Ashoka Changemakers as a quality social innovation to activate empathy in schools and will be featured as a model program in social/emotional learning in the fall of 2013 by the George Lucas Educational Foundation on the Edutopia.org website.
