Through State Community Support Coordinators, AOS is committed to heightening awareness and developing cohesive community support systems across the country to effectively address and serve the unique challenges of Military life in behavioral health, financial, legal and faith-based focus areas. By utilizing services at Military Installations, MyArmyOneSource.com – an inclusive web-based platform, and State Alliances comprised of key military and civilian stakeholders, AOS is strengthening our state’s military population and connecting our Service members, their Families and Veterans with the best resources. AOS is helping communities mobilize by creating State Alliances. An AOS State Alliance is a group of leaders, key military and civilian stakeholders, who come together to develop solutions that improve outcomes for Service members and their Families. State Alliances may include service providers, state planners, educators, legislators, partners and military members. Through the development of State Alliances, the Initiative is creating a strong community support system to effectively address and serve the unique challenges of Military life in behavioral health, financial, legal and faith-based focus areas.
