They create innovative systemic change initiatives for target groups and industry sectors. Serving 43 cities and towns in the Metro South/West region, the board works as an intermediary—bringing together businesses and public institutions to find and implement solutions to labor market problems and advocating for policy change, while developing financing strategies for the communities of: Acton, Ashland, Bellingham, Bedford, Boxborough, Brookline, Canton, Carlisle, Concord, Dedham, Dover, Foxborough, Framingham, Franklin, Holliston, Hopkinton, Hudson, Lexington, Lincoln, Littleton, Marlborough Maynard, Medfield, Medway, Millis, Natick, Needham, Newton, Norfolk, Norwood, Plainville, Sharon, Sherborn, Southborough, Stow, Sudbury, Walpole, Waltham, Wayland, Wellesley, Weston, Westwood, and Wrentham.
