Tapiolan Honka is of the biggest Basketball Clubs in Finland having more that 1000 players and some 80 coaches. Around 70 teams of Tapiolan Honka are annually participating in the series of Finnish Basketball Association. In 2011, Tapiolan Honka constructed a basketball practise arena - Honkahalli - to Tapiola Sports Park in Espoo. Honkahalli was in 2013 awarded as the Sports Venue of the Year in Finland. Yearly Honkahalli has 140 000 visitors. Honka is the organizer of the biggest youth basketball tournament Tallink Tournament in August every year.
