WGCA is changing the lives of women struggling with preventable cancer against seemingly impossible odds of geographic and economic barriers. Founded in 2008, WGCA works to prevent the incidence of cervical cancer by providing screening for women at risk in low-resource locations. Our team of medical professionals has screened more than 2,000 women for cervical cancer. Those needing treatment have received the surgical and follow up care each requires to heal. WGCA services are provided at no charge, thanks to the generous support of organizations and individuals. Together, we are changing the lives of women and their families.
