We are a community-based organization that leads improvement in quality of life for animals in Frederick County Maryland, by facilitating spay/neuter programs, affordable basic vet care, compassionate humane education, animal welfare advocacy and serving as a resource within the animal welfare community. The Frederick County Humane Society is registered as a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, and has been servicing out community since 1910. Our Mission: To advocate for animal welfare in the community and provide affordable services, resources and programs to help responsible pet owners keep their pets healthy, happy and in life-long homes.
