Oregon Coast Council for the Arts (OCCA) is many things to many people. To support its mission of celebrating, promoting and developing community arts, OCCA serves five coastal counties of Clatsop, Tillamook, Lincoln, Coos and Curry and the coastal towns of Lane and Douglass as a regional arts council. OCCA also manages two arts centers in Newport, Oregon – the Newport Performing Arts Center and the Newport Visual Arts Center – and the many arts- and community-related events that take place at both locations. In addition, OCCA supports many programs and performances for youth, artists, non-profit organizations and community groups. Oregon Coast Council for the Arts celebrates, promotes and develops community arts.
