DANNIJO

www.dannijo.com

DANNIJO jewelry is handmade in New York and known for its bold, statement designs. The collection is carried at over 130 stockists worldwide and has an extensive celebrity following. The sisters are known for their iconic designs, and for having built their cult following largely with social media. DANNIJO has been tapped by a range of global brands for partnerships and collaborations including Starbucks, Samsung, DVF, Spotify, Mercedes Benz and Club Monaco. Florida born sisters and founders Danielle Snyder and Jodie Snyder Morel started making jewelry as children by teaching themselves wirework with their cardiologist father’s medical tools. While in college, the sisters continued designing and managed a retail store for the line in their hometown Jacksonville. Upon graduation, Jodie moved to New York to start her career in fashion while Danielle co-founded a non-profit fundraising for grassroots initiatives in Africa during her last year at Vanderbilt. In March of 2008, when the two reunited in New York, the sisters launched their eponymous label with Bergdorf Goodman. The sisters continue to be passionate about creating a platform for sustainable economic opportunity for women in underdeveloped areas of the world. To this end, DANNIJO has an ongoing partnership with Indego Africa. All DANNIJO.com packaging is handmade by womens' cooperatives in Rwanda.
