Founded in the beginning of 2017, StarterHacks was formed to disrupt the hackathon model. With the intense focus on competition during hackathons, learning loses focus. StarterHacks creates a culture of learning and collaboration between students of different skillsets. StarterHacks is Canada's first hackathon focused on beginners. We work to create diversity in tech by introducing students who might not have thought tech was for them.
