Lanciano International Guitar Seminars is a consolidated unique initiative taking place in Italy during the Summer. It features international faculty of renowned performers and teachers from USA, Europe, and Italy, including Michael Newman and Laura Oltman from Newman&Oltman Guitar duo, and Isabella Abbonizio. The previous editions' guest faculty include Francisco Bernier, Vadislav Blaha, Elina Chekan, Massimo Delle Cese, Gaelle Solal. The 2018 edition's guest faculty are Joanne Castellani and Michael Andriaccio from Castellani Andriaccio Guitar Duo. The week-long event calendar includes daily master classes, ensemble rehearsals, presentations and three faculty and participants performances. Participants will have the opportunity to perform in at least three master classes with different teachers, to rehearse and play in ensemble with other participants, and to perform in three different unique settings, a small theatre, a medieval auditorium and a castle. Lanciano International Guitar Seminar offers scholarships of an overall value of 1,500 Euro for 2019 New York Guitar Seminar at Mannes and 2019 Lanciano International Guitar Seminar.
