KDVS is the University of California at Davis' campus/community radio station, broadcasting at 90.3 MHz FM in the Sacramento Valley and worldwide at kdvs.org. The station holds a non-commercial, educational, freeform license, allowing DJs and hosts to control their own content. The station is run by an undergraduate student general manager and about 20 corestaff members. Over 100 DJs make up the general staff, plus 50+ active volunteers each school quarter. KDVS broadcasts all genres of music, local news, UC Davis sports and more. The staff also hosts live music events every week, hosts a semiannual music festival, publishes the quarterly KDViationS magazine and operates the KDVS Recordings label.
