The Mercy Foundation is committed to ending chronic homelessness. We support community initiatives and we work with government, businesses and NGOs to bring about an end to homelessness. The Mercy Foundation is a NFP with DGR status. Tax deductible gifts may be made securely online through our website. The Mercy Foundation runs 2 grant programs. The major grant program, Grants to End Homelessness, offer grants up to $50,000 to community projects that prevent, respond to or end homelessness. The closing date for this program is 30 September. The application form can be found on our website or call 02 9911 7390. The small grants program provides community groups with grants up to $5,000. These grants are aimed at addressing social injustice in the community. The Mercy Foundation is a work of the SIsters of Mercy North Sydney and carries on the work of their founder, Catherine McAuley. Like Catherine, the Mercy Foundation challenges the structures that impact the most disadvantaged people in our community.
