The Westfalenhallen Dortmund GmbH and its three subsidiaries operate one of Germany's best-known event venues, shape as a modern fairground the exhibition industry in North Rhine-Westphalia and annually host more than 1,100 regional and national conferences and congresses in its modern conference centre. About 1,3 million people visit the venue every year and since 1952, the year of the re-opening of Westfalenhalle 1 after World War II, more than 100 million people have visited in total.
