The Open BioMedical Initiative (OBM Initiative) is a global non profit initiative focused to develop open source, 3D printable and low cost health and accessibility supports. It collaborate with the traditional Biomedical field thanks to its online community of volunteers and a delocalized and collaborative design of the devices. Born in Italy, it is connected with a growing number of international collaborators who join its mission. The organization and the projects of the Open BioMedical Initiative are the result of the work of its members from all over the World, united by passion, competence and curiosity. Inside it counts engineers, biotechnologists, doctors, makers, legals, journalists and general supporters, aiming to spread technologies at the service of health accessible to all.
