Sheikhbahaee University was established according to the 1994 Law of Non–Governmental Universities of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran by the effort of ten Isfahan University professors. The University started its activities in four disciplines with 117 students in 1996. At present, it has an enrolment of over 3500 students in Twenty-three graduate and undergraduate programs.
