www.rra-sibenik.hrThe public institution Development Agency of the Šibenik Knin County is a regional government agency that coordinates the development of regional and local projects implemented by public organisations in its county. The agency supports all public institutions by: creating regional development strategies and documents; providing technical assistence in preparation and implementation of all projects financed mainly by European, national but also international funds. The agency is acting as an official regional coordinator for its area, i.e. it provides specific public services regulated by the Law on regional development of the Republic of Croatia. Since 2016, the Agency has provided support for projects worth more than 400 million kunas. The projects address challenges in various sectors: business and economy, environment and climate changes, metal industry, aquaculture, cultural and natural heritage, energy efficiency, health, and wellbeing, social inclusion, etc. The agency also runs a creative industries' business hub in Šibenik called Adriatic Business Centre, it acts as a contact point of the European Commission in its region and cooperates closely with the association Emedea as one of its founding members.
