In 1998 this facility opened as InterMedical Hospital of South Carolina. In 2016, we became ContinueCARE Hospital at Palmetto Health Baptist. Our 35-bed long term acute care hospital (LTACH) is located in the heart of Columbia, SC, and is managed by CHC ContinueCARE partnership with Prisma Health Baptist. As the only LTACH in the area, we enjoy the best of both worlds by being in partnership with a 413-bed acute-care hospital yet maintaining our small hospital atmosphere. Our 150+ team members are dedicated to working together to deliver the best possible care for our patients.
