The South Carolina Beach Advocates is a nonprofit organization formed in 2015 by the mayors and administrators of the state's beach communities. We educate the public, governmental authorities, and elected officials as to the environmental, economic, and societal impact of South Carolina's beaches and inlets. South Carolina's beaches provide critical habitat, protection from storms, and serve as one of the most vital economic engines in the state.
