The Belleville Police Department employs over 110 full-time officers and civilian personnel and responds to over 40,000 calls for service every year. The Department consists of a large Patrol Division, which serves as the backbone of our force and protects the citizens of Belleville around the clock. A number of specialized divisions, bureaus and units including Investigations, Community Relations, Administration, Juvenile, Traffic, Training, Professional Standards, Property and Evidence, and the Emergency Services Unit further improve public service. Belleville officers partner with the community daily through various initiatives to enhance trust and cooperation in a joint effort to prevent crime and improve the quality of life in town.
