Beer Distributors of Oklahoma
www.oklahomabeer.orgFormed 73 years ago in 1938, the Beer Distributors of Oklahoma (BDO) is the state organization for licensed independent beer distributors in Oklahoma, the majority of which are family-owned and operated small businesses lead by second or third generation distributors. The mission of BDO is to represent and advocate for beer distributors, to serve as the unified voice for beer distributors on legislation and regulation, to encourage the responsible consumption of beer and to assist distributors in their business and community roles. Everyday, distributors bring our products to the Oklahoma consumer -- products of the highest quality, tremendous selection, outstanding service and at unbelievably low prices. The economic impact of Oklahoma’s beer distributors is very real. Employment, payroll, property taxes, income taxes, excise taxes, reinvestment back into the state and local communities are all very significant. But most of all, the BDO is a group of small businessmen and businesswomen trying to make a living – no different than any other small business today. We are proud of our heritage, our state and local communities, and our products we sell.
