The mission of The Commercial Aviation History Consultancy is to provide cost effective fact-checking, editing and research for airline history related projects of every kind including broadcast, electronic, print media, and art, as well as public and private exhibits. Historical specialty is U.S carriers during the “Jet Age”, the 20 year period between the introduction of American pure-jet aircraft in 1958 and the U.S. Deregulation Act in 1978. In addition to a photographic memory for historical detail during this period the principal has access to over 3500 volumes on aerospace topics, a personal collection of over 1300 documents/artifacts, and a resource network of fellow historians. Areas of knowledge include: detailed airline/airliner history, interpretation of the intersection of commercial aviation and American pop culture, airline marketing and advertising, corporate image and design, cabin service and cabin crew fashion, historic accidents, airline memorabilia, and the U.S. Super Sonic Transport program (1966-71.)
