Gallery FUMI is a contemporary design and art gallery located in the vibrant Shoreditch area of London. Having opened in 2008, it has already established itself as an integral part of the design community where both emerging and established designers work together to produce remarkable limited edition and one off pieces. Pieces which are often conceived, designed and crafted on site, thus the space effectively becomes a research laboratory, workshop and gallery under one roof. For Valerio Capo and Sam Pratt - the gallery owners - commitment to design is a priority but the unifying element of the space is the love for the pieces selected as if 'bought for their own home'. In a very short span of time Gallery FUMI has been acclaimed by the national and international audience for its clear vision in the world of limited edition cutting edge design and its friendly, distinctive non-corporate feel.
