Mica (mee-ka) Organics was born out of love for pure botanicals, luxurious plant oils and moisturizing butters. Mica means "beautiful scent" in Japanese and embodies the spirit of plants and natural beauty. Inspired by medicinal plants and beauty rituals, herbalist Julie Mica Taylor studied medical anthropology (a subfield of anthropology) to better understand ancient healing traditions and wellness across the globe. Combined with her career in skincare and beauty industry, Julie began to formulate botanical skincare and herbal remedies by using only the purest ingredients that were ethically and sustainably sourced. Her creations are now available through Mica Organics.
