The School of Images
www.theschoolofimages.orgThe School of Images® teaches the language of imagination for instantaneous insight and transformation by using the images of dreams, visualization, and revelation. The SOI teaching works to catalyze creative manifestation at all levels, in all areas of life, whether personal or professional, communal or global. The techniques taught at The School of Images are based on the teachings of the ancient Kabbalah of Light, which dates back to Rabbi Isaac the Blind of France and Rabbi Jacob Ben Sheshet of 13th century Spain, and which was adapted to meet the needs of a contemporary world by revered 20th-century kabbalist Colette Aboulker-Muscat. It was after studying with Aboulker-Muscat that Dr. Catherine Shainberg founded The School of Images in 1992 in New York City and it has since grown to include eight additional international locations. In the tradition of Kabbalah of Light teachings, The School of Images' techniques are experiential. There is no direct study or analysis of text, the work is pure Kabbalah, which means “receiving.” It is an experience one “receives” through inner gazing and which draws on the forgotten power of the imagination to bring clarity, healing, and renewal. In addition to New York City, current school locations include Australia, Italy, Japan, Russia, Slovenia, Taiwan & China, and the UK.
