SIPEAA is the Alumni of Industrial and Production Engineering Department of Shahjalal University of Science and technology, Sylhet, Bangladesh. Industrial and Production Engineering is a branch in engineering that concerns the development, improvement, implementation and evaluation of integrated systems of people, knowledge, equipment, energy, material and process. Industrial and Production Engineering draws upon the principles and methods of engineering analysis and synthesis, as well as mathematical, physical and social sciences together with the principles and methods of engineering analysis and design to specify, predict and evaluate the results to be obtained from such systems. Industrial and Production Engineers work to eliminate wastes of time, money, materials, energy and other resources. The Department of Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE), SUST educates students to become highly skilled in the quantitative modeling and analysis of a broad array of systems-level decision problems concerned with economic efficiency, productivity and quality; the development and creative use of analytical and computational methods for solving these problems; and to obtain the broader skills, background and knowledge necessary to be an effective professional in a rapidly-changing global economy.
