These products integrate the full spectrum of possibilities from consumables like private labeled coffee, to merchandise like clothing, mugs, adult and children’s books. These products are available to consumers thru company owned retail avenues, as well as, wholesaled to other retailers for profit, and when appropriate, licensed to other companies / organizations for the mutual benefit of both parties. Mission: To reduce homelessness in Dad-led families. Vision: To create a self-sustaining ecosystem to address issues of family homelessness. Situation: Homelessness can happen for a number of reasons from loss of a job, illness, and other conditions. When a Dad is active in their family, and they face losing their living space, the number of shelters that will take care of a family with an active, involved Dad is tiny. Some cities and counties have only 1 or 2. For example, in the County we are located in, there are 12 shelters. 10 will NOT take in a family where Dad is active. Those shelters that can support a Dad and his family are typically full with a very long waiting list. It’s often too little, too late. Government programs are insufficient and constrained. Charitable organizations help. But, they have their own restrictions as decided by their donors or their mission. Solution: The solution is to help prevent the homelessness to begin with. DQOTD helps by partnering with individuals, governments, and charitable organizations to meet targeted and short-term needs so that families with an active Dad can weather the storms of life. Proceeds from the sale of all Dad Quote of the Day (#DQOTD) products and services go to meet these needs.
