History AADGP was founded in 1974 to:  Provide a unified, national voice for the special interests of dental group practices;  Serve as a liaison to other national dental organizations;  Provide public recognition for the high quality of care that groups provide;  Offer professional improvement opportunities;  Provide an opportunity for peer contact and networking;  Present a sense of “identity” for groups everywhere.
