Biotech, healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry have pushed some of the most life changing innovations our societies have ever seen. Recent decades have seen phenomenal development in technology, however, its potential remains severely underutilised throughout these foundational industries. After working at several high impact teams across industry and academia, we have observed the difficulties with which companies, be it small startups or large institutes, struggle to make most out of current technological toolkits. We observe there is the tendency to stick to old means, not because there is a lack of interest, but because there is a lack of knowledge within the organisation. Similarly, we see bioinformatics companies that are trying to deliver a "platform that does it all solution", oftentimes with expensive licensing fees as a result. We fundamentally believe this can be different. Our focus is on developing self-sustainbility, continuity and long-term value for organisations leveraging bioinformatics to generate impact. We are passionate about breaking byzantine legacy systems and delivering ready to use bioinformatics solutions which scale, automate and accelerate innovation in biotech and healthcare.
