Chair factory De Zetel NV (Belgium) is a 4th generation family company, specializing in the production of wooden chairs and tables. Our company stands for tradition and craftsmanship and is at the same time also progressive and innovative. Since its humble beginnings in 1923, De Zetel has always been a reliable supplier to the furniture industry. De Zetel desires to become a trendsetter in the field of sustainable management understanding the competitive advantages of sustainable development. Therefore our company is investing heavily in sustainable production methods. De Zetel is already one of the few FSC and PEFC certified chair manufacturers worldwide. In this way, we contribute to sustainable forest management. Our factory and offices are also heated on the basis of the wood waste recovered during the production process. In 2006, our company also pioneered the concept of spraying with waterborne paints instead of solvent-based paints. All this helps to minimize our ecological footprint and to ensure the bright future of our children and grand children. In 2011, De Zetel launched a brand new design collection called Z-byDeZetel. In cooperation with architects and designers a commercial chair collection is being developed for the international contract market.
