Govt. of Jharkhand has setup this modern Tool Room with advance CNC Machines at Tatisilwai, Ranchi, under the supervision of MECON in 2007 with the assistance of Ministry of MSME, Government of India. It is working under direct administrative control of Department of Industries, Government of Jharkhand. Secretary-Industries, Govt. of Jharkhand is the Chairman and Director of Industries, GOJ is the Vice Chairman . It is an autonomous society which regulates its activities through the governing council which has the members from reputed industries and renowned institutes like Vice Chancellor BIT Mesra, Director, NIFFT Ranchi, Director XLRI etc. The Govt. has provided the best infrastructure to the Tool Room along with the latest technology available globally. It is conducting 4 year Diploma in Tool & Die Making and 2 year Advance Machinist Course. The Tool Room uses an exceptional blend of theoretical and practical training to produce highly skilled technical hands. The training and production wing of the Tool Room is equipped with comprehensive and sophisticated conventional and CNC machines on which the trainees become skillful.
