Urja Developers Pvt. Ltd. (Urja), is the rising brand in the Nepal power sector. Incorporated in June 2016 AD under the Company Act of Nepal, Urja has been able to establish a portfolio of hydropower projects with a cumulative installed capacity of over 275 MW. These projects are in various phases of development: some are in the feasibility study phase, some in the construction stages. Urja envisions harnessing 1 GW (1000 MW) hydropower potential in the country by 2030 AD; coherent with the plan and policy of the Government of Nepal.
