AZRA is a regional development agency established in 2005 by Varazdin County to serve the public’s interest. Main goal of AZRA is to improve existing development programmes and to ensure that development programmes are in line with regional, national and European policies. One of main AZRA's tasks is also the development of human resources in Varazdin County area, attracting foreign investors as well as helping regional and local development stakeholders in preparation, implementation and evaluation of different development projects and strategies. AZRA has also established an Croatian Region Office in Bruxelles.
