Mission: To increase access to age-appropriate books and promote kindergarten readiness We are a Denver affiliate of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. We provide brand new, age appropriate books mailed directly to the child's home each month until the child's 5th birthday. We work to get books into the hands of children to foster a love of books and reading. Research shows that simply having books in the home better prepares children for kindergarten. The Dollywood Foundation helps subsidize the cost of books, and with a partnership with Penguin Publishing, 12 books each year cost approximately $26.00. We are an all volunteer board. Children residing in 80205 are eligible to register. Once we secure more funding, we will expand our service area.
