Films4SustainableWorld (F4SW) is an association of public interest founded in Paris in 2014, whose objective is to inspire through short documentary films, people, associations, businesses, territorial institutions, cities and governments to set in motion new initiatives that contribute to a more environmental friendly society and offering greater solidarity among citizens. F4SW was originally founded by Didier Bonnet and his daughter Camille to kick off the [𝗠𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗖𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀-𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘀] 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗺 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 (www.megacities-shortdocs.org). https://vimeo.com/678177191/b95d7002da After 3 years, we decided, in September 2017, to co-produce a series of documentary films [𝗩𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲], dedicated to the young generation, whose ambitions are identical to the ones pursued by the Festival while mastering the subjects covered. To do so we partnered with Mr. Meghatithi who won two Awards at the Festival and has been making socially relevant films on the issues of environment and sustainable living for over a decade. His films reflect positive and constructive ideas and actions from individuals and organisations by giving voice to them. We received in 2021 the "United Nations permanent Observer" status (linked to the COPs) to recognise the role of Advocacy through Documentary Films. F4SW is collaborating with the OECD, C40, UNDP, Solar Impulse Foundation, Greater Paris Metropolis & City of Paris, and with several other cities thanks to Professor Moreno (honorary president of the NGO) known for his reflections, initiatives, and applications focused on the smart, sustainable, and sensitive city and who is at the origin of the 15 minute city concept.
