Now operating on four continents, PILAglobal was founded in 2014 by a group of educators who believe that children, regardless of economic or geographic considerations, are entitled to an education that sparks curiosity, creativity and joy. PILAglobal brings high quality education to under-resourced communities around the world through an international constellation of “Nests” – culturally responsive, play-based early education programs for young children and families. In collaboration with partner organizations, PILAglobal establishes schools and parenting programs in refugee camps, migrant shelters, and communities experiencing extreme poverty.
