The practice was created by Dr. William M. Brown in 2006. It was founded on the principals of compassionate care, innovative techniques, and overarching love for patient's and the community overall. In 2011, Dr. Christopher Durham joined the practice and continued the mission of excellent care of patient's within the practice and service beyond just the office walls. Dr. Brown then retired in the summer of 2016 for medically related issues. Later during 2016, the practice was re-branded to "The Oral Surgery Institute of the Carolinas." Dr. George Soung then joined the practice in July of 2017. Dr. Durham and Dr. Soung continue to uphold the high standards of the profession which they love and continue to give back to their communities beyond the walls of the practice. Furthermore, Dr. Durham and Dr. Soung offer a variety of services relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Services are provided in a friendly, caring environment utilizing state of the art equipment, and the latest techniques.
