The Emergency Department Practice Management Association (EDPMA) is one of the nation’s largest professional physician trade associations focused on the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective care in the emergency department. Our members are emergency medicine physician groups and the businesses that support them (such as RCM companies, billing, coding, software companies and many more). Our members handle about half of the 146 million visits to the ED each year. For over 20 years, we have been advocating for emergency medicine issues at the state and Federal levels, educating on business best practices and offering great networking events for the EM community. We work collectively and collaboratively to deliver essential healthcare services, often unmet elsewhere, to an underserved patient population who often has nowhere else to turn.
