Srihari Global IISD Foundation is an initiative of SREI Foundation and Kanoria Foundation. SHGIISD is the brain child of visionary industrialist and philanthropist, Dr. H. P. Kanoria. It has been initiated by SREI Foundation with the social mission to develop skills in individuals, build their futures and generally enhance the quality of their lives. Prajna Vidya Bharati Pvt. Ltd. is also supporting Srihari Global IISD Foundation. Historically, Srihari Global IISD Foundation started its journey as far back as in August 2005 with the avowed mission of helping aspirants to succeed in various competitive exams. As the years progressed, Srihari Global IISD Foundation embarked on diversification introducing time-tested new courses to raise equal to the needs of the day. Srihari Global IISD Foundation is rechristened as a charitable entity under section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956. The entity was designed with the objective of providing quality education to children belonging to the down trodden and weaker section of the society. Srihari Global IISD Foundation at present manages two schools which presently impart education up to standard IX and V respectively, along with facilities like free mid-day meals, books and school dresses at concessional rates. The donations received by the entity helps to sustain the financial and educational activities undertaken by the two schools.
