Punt es el principio del trazo del diseño, de la creación. Es el inicio de infinitas posibilidades, de un camino apasionante que recorremos con el único objetivo de crear belleza. En 1980, antes que una compañía, Punt fue el vehículo de expresión de dos diseñadores que necesitaban canalizar su creatividad. Se fundó desde el diseño y para el diseño. En los difíciles años 80 en España, se inspiró en los clásicos diseñadores del norte de Europa y creció junto a sus vecinos mediterráneos italianos, creando una identidad propia y una obsesión por ofrecer piezas diferentes, artísticas. Numerosos premios y reconocimientos nos empujan a seguir el camino emprendido hace tantos años. Punt means “point”, the point where pen meets paper, the point that will become a line; a design; a creation. It is the starting point of an enthralling journey with in nite possibilities where the only goal is to create beauty. In 1980, before it was a company, Punt was simply a means of expression for two designers who were driven to channel their creativity. It was born of and for design. During the challenging decade of the 1980s in Spain, inspiration was taken from the classic Northern European designers and Puntblossomed, alongside its Mediterranean neighbours in Italy, by creating a unique identity and an obsession with providing distincti- ve and artistic pieces. Our numerous prizes and awards give us the motivation to continue along the path which started at a single point so many years ago.
