www.nbap.orgMission New Beginnings Are Possible’s (NBAP) mission is to “provide urban youth in Milwaukee exposed to at-risk conditions with a Biblically-based morally sound foundation necessary to make healthy choices which empower them to become contributing members of the community. We believe in building life changing relationships with urban youth.” Vision for Urban Youth: - Youth feel safe, loved and valued - Youth love learning and are committed to lifelong effort - Youth are positive leaders and mentors of tomorrow - Our model is so successful, we are asked to replicate/collaborate in other neighborhoods of Milwaukee Method of Delivery NBAP staff strives to fulfill our mission and vision by utilizing specially designed curriculum that addresses all aspects of human development--spiritual, educational, social, emotional and physical growth. We operate in a structured manner – in programming, routines, discipline, and expectations of youth and family. The population served is primarily black or minority based. We deliver via: - Our Christian Youth Education Center at 37th and Fond Du Lac Avenue in Milwaukee targets youth ages 6-18. We operate year round five days per week at this neighborhood center. - Our Youth Ministry program targets at-risk youth ages 13-18 residing at St. Charles Youth & Family Services Facility and provides positive role models and connections through Christian-based teachings. Our loyal volunteers are at St. Charles weekly.
