Our mission is to: > Promote cooperation, understanding and working relationships among the members of all Professional Disciplines in the field of estate planning. > Assist members in keeping abreast of laws and conditions affecting business and the problems of estate accumulation and conservation. > Encourage members to offer the best and most ethical professional services. ******************************************************************** *OPEN MEMBERSHIP* Membership is open to all estate planning professionals; attorneys, accountants, business valuators, financial planners, investment advisors, life underwriters, pension administrators, stock brokers, trust officers and other related professionals. A $79 membership fee is paid annually by each member. The membership year runs 7/1-6/30. *MEETINGS* The Council holds monthly dinner meetings at which keynote speakers cover specific issues of interest to estate planners. Meetings are held from September through May at the William Penn Inn, located in Gwynedd, PA. *CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS* Our annual seminar/monthly programs may qualify for Continuing Education Credits from such organizations as the PA State Board of Accountancy, the PA Continuing Legal Education Board, and the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, PA CE (Insurance). (CE Credit information is listed in the Calendar.) The council is a member of the National Association of Estate Planning Councils.
