Volunteer Association of Zimbabwe (VAZ) is a non-profit organisation born out of a desire to harness the spirit of volunteerism that had died in this increasingly selfish world. There has been a realisation that there are so many people and institutions who would rather give and share their time, skills, resources and services pro-bono for a worthy cause but do not know how to go about it. These people include those who are in service, retired or unemployed as well as recent graduates and students. On the other extreme are institutions and individuals who would want to benefit from such volunteer services but do not know who to approach. It is against this backdrop that VAZ exists.
