Joules Accelerator enables the growth of high-potential clean energy startups by facilitating training, mentoring and access to utilities, customers and key industry players through the bi-annual Catalyst Program based in Charlotte, N.C. Over a three month period, Joules Accelerator cohort members gain immediate and focused access to relevant decision makers, which expands their networks and sometimes results in a pilot or deal. Since its 2013 founding, Joules Accelerator has supported the creation of 90 jobs, $15 million in investment and seven pilot projects. Joules does not take equity in startups and does not charge for the application process or participation in the program.
