Utawaleza is a community organisation that was founded in December 2016 with the aim of promoting a culture of reading and inspiring creative development in young Malawians. This has been done through the establishment of book clubs in four cities across Malawi (Lilongwe, Blantyre, Zomba and Mzuzu), as well as through the donation of educational materials to under-resourced schools using community mobilisation efforts.
