The mission of the Northwest Hospital Foundation is to secure and allocate resources for funding projects exclusively in support of UPMC Northwest, thereby helping area residents find hope, healing and access to high quality healthcare. Our philanthropic philosophy is to thoughtfully enhance the health care of our community by making financial resources available to UPMC Northwest in its mission to deliver high quality services to the residents of the region. The foundation funds programs and activities that go above and beyond what an established health care system of our size would generally be expected to provide. Northwest Hospital Foundation receives and allocates gifts exclusively in support of UPMC Northwest, so 100 percent of every gift you give stays in our area and benefits only UPMC Northwest. The foundation is funded exclusively by gifts from individuals and organizations to advance health care in our community.
