China Shipping South America Holding is a subsidiary Holding Company of China Shipping Group which was established on July 1st, 1997, (abbr. China Shipping) and is a mega comprehensive, cross-trade, trans-regional, trans-ownership, transnational, state owned entreprise group with shipping as its main business. The headquarters of the group is located in Shanghai. China Shipping has the total assets of 200 billion RMB and annual income of more than 80 billion RMB. Its four subsidiaries: China Shipping Development, China Shipping Container Lines, China Shipping Haisheng and China Shipping Science & Technology have been listed on stock markets respectively in Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hong Kong. The main service rendered by China Shipping is transportation of containers, oils, bulk cargo, LNG, passenger, cars and special objects.
