The Sustainable Herbs Program (SHP) is a joint program with the American Botanical Council following medicinal plants from their point of origin through the supply chain to the consumer. Through videos and photo essays, this site documents best practices in the botanical industry in order to raise industry and consumer awareness about issues of sustainability and ethical practices. It also provides tools and resources for companies wishing to address these issues in their practices.
