Right Moves for Youth (RMFY) is a school-based, youth development and student support program focused on helping teens develop the skills to succeed in school and life. Using a group counseling model, RMFY helps students come to school, do the right things, strengthen social skills, and get ready for college and the workforce. In our program, students grow together and build positive relationships to excel academically, socially and emotionally! Reaching an average of 1,600 middle and high school students each year, our core program uses a group counseling model that enhances school engagement, improves prosocial behavior, strengthens social-emotional competence, and improves college/workforce readiness among students. Working collaboratively with our partners, schools, students and the community our goal is to help students in middle and high schools understand the importance of graduating and the impact that having a high school diploma can have on their lives. Last year, 96% of RMFY students were promoted to the next grade or graduated high school with a plan for their future success.
