Established in 1990, Margranite is not only an importer of natural stone slabs, but also a one-of-a kind granite slab production facility in Western North America. Margranite originated as a granite tile manufacturer in Surrey, a first in Western North America. After supplying granite tiles to Canadian and US markets, the demand for locally produced granite slabs prompted construction and the opening of a slab production facility on the same site in 2000. Today, the plant is able to accommodate specific customer requests for finishes such as flamed, honed, brushed, satin/leather and polished, as well as different thicknesses of up to 6”. Margranite plant is the perfect viable alternative to overseas suppliers, combining convenience, flexibility, quality, and diversity in an easy local source. Customers are able to view full-size slabs of each of our 300 granite, marble, onyx, limestone, travertine, engineered stone, quartzite, soapstone, and slate materials in our Burnaby Gallery, next to our tile showroom.
