Founded in 2007, Brazil Ahead has been thriving on teaching the Portuguese language in NYC as well as online. We specialize in Brazilian Portuguese, for leisure or business purposes. Also, we offer differentiated courses for English and Spanish speakers. In 2009, we launched our Children Division - Brazil Ahead for Kids. We are proud to offer Portuguese Classes for children and teenagers in our location in Manhattan, NYC, or private tutoring on and offsite. Our After-School and Saturday Programs are for kids ages 3 to 12. Besides being Educational, our program also provides hands on, fun experiences combined with writing and reading. All programming is delivered by native speakers (Brazilian), experienced and caring facilitators who provide students with the opportunities and skills they need to be successful in acquiring all aspects of the Portuguese language. Because most of our Portuguese students have Brazilians friends or families, we also offer English classes to make sure communication between the two parts happens smoothly. With our partner American Ways and Language, Brazilians will learn English and understand the American culture, always from a cross-cultural point of view. While a lot of schools offer English as a Second Language, Brazil Ahead is the only school in NYC to offer customized English classes for Portuguese speakers. Our instructors are very experienced in teaching languages, besides fluent in English they are also fluent in Portuguese; therefore, they comprehend the challenges of grammar, vocabulary, orthography and pronunciation for a Portuguese speaker.
